For more than 70 years, two of America’s top classical radio stations, KUSC and KDFC, have been championing the power of classical music in our local communities of Los Angeles, San Francisco, and cities in between, through great music, support of the arts, and compelling storytelling from knowledgeable hosts.
Now we’re focusing on building a secure future for this music beyond the FM dial with “Classical California”. Classical California is our new umbrella brand, providing us a space where our current strengths (KUSC and KDFC) can co-exist alongside our aspirations for new services that nurture a love of classical music for all.
Our radio stations are strong, and will remain vital local community organizations, but our listeners have encouraged us to do more.
